We are going to our last stay in the south. Two full days near to the golden circle. But before we drive further, another short stop at Jökulsárlón.

The closer we get to Vík í Mýrdal, the more tourists are driving. Vík itself is terrible, so we just fill up gas, buy some stuff and get away but not before we have seen the black beach of Vík.

Another short stop on the other side and then we’ll get to Asólfsskáli. On the way we look for the wrecked C-47 SkyTrain Airplane close to Sólheimasandur which can be seen on so many pictures I think, but anyway…

Later the evening we have a look at Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss.
