Promising forecast for a nice sunrise. Before the sun was really up, it was already over and the sky turned to grey’ish colour. Not 100% satisfied with the shots but not too bad.
The shots were made using the D850 and the Zeiss 21mm.

I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.
Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
