The Midlum Windmill is located close by and should be worth to shoot.
However, it is damn close to have a good spot with the windmill. I’ll have to see that when there. Assume the Nikkor 24mm PC-E is the lens to use for that.

I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.
Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
