Yesterday in the early evening, a rainbow appeared over the Elbe in the direction of Brunsbüttel.

The small Fuji is really good compared to the sensor size. Since it is very small, it is ideal for “just quickly” taking along.

I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.
Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
