hort flight with the Mavic Mini. Unfortunately it was completely overcast and there the camera of the Mavic Mini can not deliver. Very muddy in the depths in such conditions.

8. September 2025I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.

3. September 2025Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
