An image (from 50 individual images) of the comet that could possibly be visible to the naked eye from April. Predicting comets is always a bit difficult, but the development of the magnitude until May could make it possible. However, it will probably not be as bright as C/2020 F3 Neowise in 2020.

8. September 2025I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.

3. September 2025Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
