Finally a clear sky again. And this time it was particularly clear. Seeing was perfect. I have rarely seen such a clear sky here. The best conditions.

M15 was the second image taken yesterday evening. Unfortunately, a street lamp was almost in the way. However, I was able to remove the gradients quite well.
The M34 star cluster is less spectacular. But still…

I almost didn’t set off as the sky was closing in. Fortunately, I did set off after all. As in 2018, the moon only became visible late, but towards the end of totality it was still clearly visible. Until around 8:30 pm, the brightness was not sufficient to penetrate the veil near the horizon.
Last night, a remnant of the last substorm in Cuxhaven was still visible. I drove to Döse at around 10:30 pm without too much hope of seeing many auroras. However, a little northern light did become photographically visible.
