At first it was still sunny, but that was to change in the course of the morning.
We arrived in Battersea under cloudy skies. This is where the old power station featured on Pink Floyd’s Animals album is located. The area has since been transformed into an upmarket residential neighbourhood, and the power station has been converted into a large shopping centre. Together with the adjacent park, it has become the Battersea district.
We then headed back via Embankment and the adjacent bridges.
In the evening, we ate at the Hard Rock Café in Piccadilly Circus and then walked back to Embankment via Trafalgar Square.
