Northern lights over the Tidal Elbe

Yesterday evening, the time had finally come again. Finally, above all, a clear sky… The forecasts were exceptionally good. After the handball game, I headed straight out and lo and behold, the green arc was already visible from my front door.

 

What awaited me at my usual location was unbelievable. Absolutely comparable to the substorms of May and October 2024.

 

Still visible even in the south. Unfortunately, my shortest focal length is 15mm on 35mm film. That would have been perfect for a fisheye lens.
