Early morning shot taken in Cappel-Neufeld. Nice sunrise in the back lighting the clouds in front of me. First shot taken with the Zeiss 21f2.8 and second with the Samyang 135f2.

Cuxhaven – Skyfire
Took the chance to take some shots in the Cuxhavener Küstenheiden. The sky was really nice. First picture was done using the D800 with the Zeiss 35mm cropped to 16:9 format. The 18mm was too wide for this. Above picture shows the same view but using the D800 with the Zeiss 18mm. The image is […]
Winter sunset
The sky looked promising yesterday afternoon. Low thick clouds over the area but south direction was blue sky. Sunset was close so I went to the shore near by to shoot some sunset pictures. Unfortunately, the sky didn’t turn to the full red in the cloudy area but still a nice one. Used the D800 on […]
Foggy morning…
Just for one shot down to the “Alte Liebe”. With such conditions a black and whit edoes make a better job. Using the D800 with Zeiss 35f2 and Polarizer with 10-Stop ND. At f8 this was resulting in 30 seconds exposure time which smoothed the water quite well.
After the frost…
Sunset at Obereversand
I did several attempts to shoot another time at Obereversand while having sunset, but either time didn’t permit or the weather was turning so that the scenery didn’t look as I was expecting. Yesterday it worked quite well. I spent 2h there shooting several scenes. Although the evening was quite nice I prefer to go […]
After the thunderstorm
Some pictures taken after heavy rain and thunderstorm in the harbor area. The sun came out late in the evening while the clouds where moving towards north-east.
Cuxhaven
Sunny but also slightly foggy day. Sigma had sent back the adjusted 18-35, I wanted to give it another try with the D7200. Around the Steubenhöft and during a ferry ride some good chances to test the lens. Besides the prime lenses from Sigma this is probably the sharpest lens ever seen on DX.
Sunday morning
Some pictures from here and there taken last Sunday. Using the D2x with the Sigma 10-20 for above shot.
