As expected, it didn’t work quite as well with the X-T20 and the Fringer adapter. The camera is not as fast as the X-T3, but still usable. The pictures here were taken with the Nikkor 300mm f/4.0 PF.

Rosette nebula
Yesterday evening I could get my first usable result with the iOptron SkyGuider Pro mount. It is already damn hard to find the right section of the sky with LiveView without GOTO functionality. The one shown was the third attempt. This definitely requires more knowledge about the objects in the sky and also in interaction […]
Fringer NF-FX (FR-FTX1)
Short test of the Fringer NF-FX (FR-FTX1) adapter with the X-T3 and the Nikkor 500f/5.6 PF. The adapter works excellent. I still have to experiment a bit with the autofocus settings of the X-T3, but otherwise it is already very good. Exif data is also fully adopted. This could make the Nikon D500 obsolete 🙂 […]
Colour of the moon
The moon is not as colorless as one might think. Here is a version of the last image taken of the (nearly) full moon with extended color saturation in the individual channels. This inspires to take more pictures of the earth’s satellite and especially to “stack” them to get more details in the pictures.
Nearly full moon
Very early morning

Since the lighting of the Kugelbake again and again once partially failed I had the opportunity to capture this […]
Hurry up…
A little late for the fantastic morning sky. So only briefly in the city center and made a shot with the X-T3. Shortly after that it was already over again.
M42 – Orion Nebula
On Saturday evening it finally worked out again and I could do an astro session. I wanted to photograph the Orion Nebula M42 again. This time with more environment. Last time I used the D5200 crop camera, this time I used the D800 FX. The image shown here is the 1st try. As with the […]
Wind farm Nordholz
This morning I flew again at the wind farm Nordholz. After the weather was very bad last time, the snow was missing today, but, you can not have everything. And here’s the flightlog
The unexpected
At first it didn’t look like the morning would be good for photography. Nevertheless, briefly driven to the Küstenheiden nature reserve. And, lo and behold, fog… superb. Shortly before sunrise there was also an excellent play of colors in the sky, what more could you want?
