On Saturday evening it finally worked out again and I could do an astro session. I wanted to photograph the Orion Nebula M42 again. This time with more environment. Last time I used the D5200 crop camera, this time I used the D800 FX. The image shown here is the 1st try. As with the […]

Wind farm Nordholz
This morning I flew again at the wind farm Nordholz. After the weather was very bad last time, the snow was missing today, but, you can not have everything. And here’s the flightlog
The unexpected
At first it didn’t look like the morning would be good for photography. Nevertheless, briefly driven to the Küstenheiden nature reserve. And, lo and behold, fog… superb. Shortly before sunrise there was also an excellent play of colors in the sky, what more could you want?

Cuxhaven city
After the small failure in the morning I flew yesterday in the afternoon at the weekly market. The light was much better and so it was quite a nice flight.
Cuxhaven Döse

Actually, the snow flurry should be over by then, but the temperatures should still be around freezing point. Let’s see; the […]
Moon halo above Cuxhaven

Kugelbake
Fantastic morning and virtually no people out and about at the Kugelbake – perfect. While the X-T20 was shooting the timelapse, I took a few photos with the Fuji GFx.
Crematorium
A picture with the 20mm Voigtländer on the Fuji GFX. In 16:9 format, this works without vignetting. However, the outermost edges are quite blurry. As make-shift solution for – converted – 16mm on DSLR-Fullframe, however, still quite decent.
