Planning Venice

Planning Italy Trip
We will go to Italy in 2016. The whole tour is planned to be done by car. Planned route so far: Route is from hometown to Como (as an interim stop) Cinque Terre (Levanto) Tuscany (Artimino) Rome (with a single day trip to Pompeii) Venezia (Trevisio stay for a single day in Venice) and then back.
Jökulsárlón Panorama
On the day we left towards Ásólfsskáli we stopped a last time at Jökulsárlón. I used the Nikon D4 with Tamron 70-200f2.8 at 200mm for a panorama shot of the scene. The whole traveling distance I tracked with my Garmin was 5490km. Using the 2 cameras I had with me I did 4549 pictures. Main lens on the D800 was the Sigma 24-105f4 Art. With the D4 I used nearly all lenses except the Sigma Zoom. Most pictures of the Birds were shot with the D4. The EV […]
Iceland Pictures: Höfuðborgarsvæðið
The last region we went was Höfuðborgarsvæðið, the capital region. This is mainly Reykjavík and pictures taken were only in the city. No bird shots in this region but some black & white extracts of some pictures taken.
Iceland Pictures: Suðurland
From Austurland we got to Suðurland (Southern region). Unfortunately we arrived in Vík í Mýrdal at noon time. Bad time for good shots at the beach there and Dyrhólaey. From Ásólfsskáli we went to the places around Golden Circle and Landmannalaugar. No bird shots in this region but some black & white extracts of some pictures taken.
