Clear sky and darkness coming earlier and earlier, what more could you want…. Last night I photographed the Hercules Globular Cluster or Messier 13. Aufnahmedaten

M31 – Andromeda
Last night it was finally clear again. Opportunity to capture the Andromeda galaxy. Other deep sky objects would have fallen victim to the (almost) full moon. Originally it was supposed to be a mosaic, but that didn’t work out. Therefore as a single image, and thus also M110 squeezed hard to the edge. The […]
NGC 281 – Pacman Nebula
Last night I photographed the emission nebula NGC 281 (Pacman Nebula) with the Skywatcher Evostar. Originally I planned to take 50 single images, but later clouds came up and so there were only 22 usable images. Aufnahmedaten
M42 – Orion Nebula
A picture from last night. Unfortunately the season is already quite advanced, so the view of Orion is not so long in the evening. Therefore here first only 3500 seconds exposure time. Maybe I will manage to add a few more exposures. Recording parameters
Orion Constellation
Yesterday evening I took a picture of the constellation Orion. The 100 frames were all taken with the Nikon D500 and the 90mm Voigtländer. Overall somewhat disappointing, the colors and especially Barnard’s Loop don’t come out at all. No idea if it is due to the processing, the Nikon used or the Clear Sky […]
Flame- and Horsehead-Nebula
Last night I photographed the Flame Nebula in the constellation Orion. Besides the Flame-Nebula and the Horsehead-Nebula, the bright star Alntiak is also well visible on the image. Recording data
M31 – Andromeda Galaxy
In the night from August 3rd to 4th I photographed the Andromeda Galaxy. The mount used this time was the iOptron iPolar on the Berlebach tripod with the Nikon D500 and the 300mm PF lens. The recording data.
M42 – Orion Nebula
On Saturday evening it finally worked out again and I could do an astro session. I wanted to photograph the Orion Nebula M42 again. This time with more environment. Last time I used the D5200 crop camera, this time I used the D800 FX. The image shown here is the 1st try. As with the […]
M31 – Andromeda Galaxy
In the night of August 12th to 13th I took some shots of the Andromeda galaxy again. Due to wrong polar alignment the telescope drifted far out of my view later, so that from the originally planned 350 images only 122 usable ones remained. The sharpness also still leaves to be desired. The recording data.
C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS)
The night I wanted to take pictures of the M81/M82, I had to wait a little bit before it was dark enough. Since the C/2019 comet had burst two days before, I targeted the C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS) comet and took 20 pictures as a test. What a pity, I wish I had taken more 🙂 […]
